In 2018 my boyfriend, Mitch, began competing in Strongman events, and has moved to Highland Games in 2023. Over the years I’ve designed him a lot of merch to show support. His original logo combines the Nordic runes for M (mannaz) and A (ansuz) despite the fact that his initials are M and F. We decided on ansuz together because it aligned closer with our alphabet, so it wouldn’t need a ton of explanation, and because ansuz means god. Plus this opened up the door to make “Strong MF” merch.
